Did you know that 70% of the attachments you receive by email are PDF files? You may not realise it yet, but you already have all the tools you need to work efficiently with these documents! They are secretly hidden (whoops...maybe not, as there are about 25 million people per month that are using them) behind this magical colourful cube called Smallpdf. They are so easy to use that I’m sure they will become your best friends!

Whether you’re sending an email, preparing a presentation, signing a document or trying to edit your file in its original format, this little guy has got you covered. With Smallpdf, you can save up to 2 hours per week that would have been spent on document challenges! Exciting isn’t it?

Here's how to use your new Smallpdf Extension

 

Click on the extension and all the tools will be revealed! We also detect the last tool that you have used and will place it at the top of your personal list.

Here's how to use the Smallpdf Extension when you're viewing PDF in the browser

 

Smallpdf is also integrated in the native Chrome browser PDF viewer: Look on the left side of the screen, next to your document you'll find a button "Tools".

Click on the button "Tools" to reveal the list of all the Smallpdf tools. You can pick any of the tools in the list and when you'll click on it the file will be sent directly to Smallpdf for being processed and finalised.

Here's how to use the Smallpdf Extension in Gmail

 

Smallpdf is now integrated in Gmail: Compress and attach PDFs simultaneously and convert received attachments to and from PDF, directly from Gmail.

Create a new message and use the Smallpdf icon at the bottom to attach a PDF file. The file you'll pick will be automatically compressed to its smallest size to fit any email.

Convert the attachments you receive in your inbox to and from PDF. Simply select the attachment and clikc on the Smallpdf icon to open the list of tools and format you can have to convert and download your file.
